GABRIELE KIRCHHOFF, PhD, was born in 1959 in Wuppertal, Germany. She studied Educational Science and Special Education at the universities of Essen and Cologne.
From 1985 - 1999 she worked as lecturer and scientific employee at the University of Cologne and the Distance University Hagen in Germany (among others in trainings for teachers).
Since 2000 she specialiced on eLearning.
In the "Crystal Comprehensive Programme for Building eLearning Institutions" she developed the instructional design, authored modules and provided learners` support.
